Depends on what you are looking for if nightlife partying and general exploration of nature and sightseeing thailand is the way to go but so far away from kuala lumpur

 

if you dont want to party or sight see and just want to experience a new modernized clean city but not much to do singapore is nearer and far more convenient from kuala lumpur

Malaysia if you are after nightlife. Singapore for relatively convenient, clean city. Thailand if you are after relaxation and other bonuses.
