Though as noted, not really a general. From the list given, ill choose Aragorn. Inspiring leader who was also a great fighter. Led from the front. From history, but there are films about him so it should count, Genghis Khan. Was a son of a chief but was made a servant. Later united the mongols and conquered the biggest territory ever. Wow.
