• Pahirapan computer dati. You have to use different ports for this and that. Kailan lang nagboom ang USB interface? mga 1998 ba?

• Tapos yung HDD o CD Drive...may slave and master pin pa. IDE pa yung saksakan. (Wala pang SATA)

• Either built in na yung video graphics sa mobo o may AGP na kasama. (Dito ko nasubukan magkalkal ng settings...mapagana lang yung laro)

• Dial up para makaconnect sa internet. Tapos may tatawag. Nakupo. Disconnect.

• Floppy disk na lagi gusto magformat ng disk.

• 3.1 days. pahirapan. Pero yung mga laro solid (MS-DOS Games) letseng...android pinball yan...di mabuhay buhay

• Big CRT displays...gawd...takaw space.

• Hiwalay pa yung printer at scanner. -___-

• Naabutan ko pa yung basic programming..jusko. mano mano lahat. Ni walang masyado heads-up.

• De bola pa yung mouse mo. Linis...balik...linis...balik (Take note...hindi plug & play yung PS2 port. Pag tanggal keyboard/mouse...restart pc)

Our first pc was the intel 486 mas malaki pa ang memory ng cd rom kesa sa hard drive hehe

Remember na DOS based o text base yung computer dati?

 

As in primitive lahat. Hindi uso multitasking. Medyo one at a time pagrun ng program.

 

Kung anu-ano pa tinatype para mapagana yung isang software.

 

Hindi pa user friendly yung gui dati. Buti nga nag-aadjust mga developer to the point kahit 1st time mo makita yung software madali ka na makapag interact.

Was too young to remember the exact specs of each setup i worked with growing up. But i remember going through 286, 386, 486, pentium 1, 2,skipped 3 went straight to 4. All of them assembled by my father back then. You guys have no idea how good we have it now. Back then we only had a greyscale monitor.

I grew up using XT, I had a 486 DX 100 for years, Then pentium II, then Pentium III. I still have a working pentium IV laptop using a XP.

i had pentium-m slim Dell laptop dati, 1gb ang RAM, 30GB ang HDD capacity binili ko sa Ozukanon Japan near nagoya... Feeling ko Sobrang Hightech nako nun hahahaha
