Agree — kamiss talaga ang Sagada especially during summer. The cool mountain air is reason enough to make the trip. It's one of those places that hits differently when you actually get there.

For those planning to go: the 6k-7k budget for solo travelers (including transport and 2 days/1 night) is realistic if you plan ahead. Group trips where you split costs obviously bring it down a lot. The food is simple but there are a few standout spots — Yogurt House is almost a mandatory stop for most first-timers.

Beyond the caves and hanging coffins, Sagada has a lot of quieter spots that people overlook — the rice terraces nearby, the waterfalls, just walking the trails in the morning. Has anyone done a sunrise hike there recently? Curious if access to the viewpoints has improved or if it's still the same slightly rugged trail setup.
