its fun!!

im a manutd fan. i think the defense and midfield is causing problems for united. plus the new 4-3-3 system being introduced. shakey ung defense without g.neville and g.heinze. keano is being missed in the mids.

Now, Capello's problem is if he should still keep Del Piero on the lineup now that Mutu seemed to have proven worthiness. Mukhang mapapalitan na ang captain ng Juventus. Tsk Tsk Tsk.

Schalke 2-2 AC Milan

very good result for schalke, the german side had a draw w/ the finalists ac milan, inconsistent pa din tlga ang milan when compared to juventus who keep their winning ways in the serie a & the CL, tuloy pa din ang criticism ng back four ng ac milan dahil matanda na daw sila (stam, nesta, maldini, cafu)..

Fenerbache 3-0 PSV

tsk tsk tsk..another disastrous game for the previous quarterfinalists, the dutch side really suffered w/ their key players leaving (van bommel, park, lee, etc.)..nice win for the turkish side proving that their attacking is in par w/ other teams in the CL..

Rosenborg 0-1 Lyon

the french league champions still are proving that they don't need essien to win in europe..

Real Madrid 2-1 Olympiakos

this game still proves that the galacticos are still leaky in the back..lucky for luxemburgo he was bailed out by soldado in the 86th minute..

Liverpool 0-0 Chelsea

Liverpool is the kryptonite to the Superstars of Chelsea..masterful coaching and tactics by Benitez to counter the Chelsea attack, if only they could break their defense as well..

Anderlecht 0-1 Real Betis

Spanish clubs are still proving that they are still to be reckoned with in Europe (Real Betis, Villareal, Real Madrid, Barcelona)

Internazional 1-0 Rangers

Inter stops the ascendancy of Rangers in the CL, hope Rangers can still bounce back & qualify for the group stages to maintain Scottish football's glory..

Porto 2-3 Artmedia Bratislava

another disaster for the previous winners of the CL, key losses to their players (deco, etc.) as well as their manager (mourinho) really weakened the side, kudos to Artmedia for the stunning win..

Any suggestions on who ManU should buy (midfielders & defenders) during the january transfer window?..

Any suggestions on who ManU should buy (midfielders & defenders) during the january transfer window?..

His really gotta find two world class midfielders to replace Scholes & Keane infuture and also for now to push so someone hitting their stride or prime, you can see from the Man U vs Benfica game their really lacking quality from the inside. Scholes again looked dead and not lively and Smith well his not the next Keane. the 4-3-3 formation there using with the two wide men up front does work but you need 3 great midfielders to make that happen like Chelsea.

Only Scholes could manage to push but Smith & Fletcher aint world beaters. Smith is nowhere near Keanes level only thing that they have in common is the red & yellow cards they get, Fletcher is a young up & coming scottish player but his not going to push people around yet and nor does he have the level of talent like Ronaldo. Park Ji-Sung is a good midfielder but as a wide player. Keane is nowhere near the fearsome player he was and his now just strolling around the park, Giggs is still a killer but clearly Fergie is not using him to an extent of his talent.

They have replaced a good player in Beckham spot but there really missig his pinpoint crosses and passes wish Fergie didnt sell him because of pride and also Jaap Stam! man Jaap was the rock of Man U he scared the bejesus out of strikers like what Pallister use to do.

Defenders they need a few more like at full back positions to backup Gary & Mikeal. A central defender wouldnt hurt too. However they should give Pique a chance and maybe get Spector back from loan and use him as a full back clearly Richardson is not a defender and he really wants to run down the wings and confuse the defenders like what he did at West Brom.

Man U has missed out on so many chances in getting Essien, Ronaldinho, Deco, Ballack, Thuram, Neved etc list goes on...

IF the Glazer can give some money for Fergie to spend then look for at least 3 top quality additions to the midfield, 3 defenders and 1 striker.

ur take??
