duchessXI
GO RAFA! thats the way the kops do it. bwahahahahaha. LONG LIVE RAFA! hes right. Sir Alex is part of the Scotland Yard. and David Gill is holds a senior position at the English FA. No wonder they get their way around with referees. Fixture list, attitute towards referees, and the list goes on.. LONG LIVE RAFA! Quote Link to comment

damaso
i'm a big fan of rafa and i give him all the credit for bringing us the european cup back in 2005... ...BUT has he lost the plot? his recent rant against sir alex is true (as all non man utd fans know), but what good would come of it? it only alienates rafa more from the english fa and the refs. i now expect refs to be even more biased against liverpool. also, what a pathetic performance against stoke. without xabi alonso and gerrard pushed forward, we lacked creativity in the middle. and why play kuyt alone up front? rafa successfully converted him to a wide player and now he plays him as a lone target man ahead of torres or keane??? and speaking of keane, it took him a while but he's been scoring goals in the last few games. and now that he's found his form, he's benched? rafa, please! you are testing my faith! please prove me wrong for doubting you...and soon! damaso
this is getting ridiculous. man city have upped the ante and are now ready to spend over $350m (271m euro) on kaka. ac milan gets $157m (120m euro), kaka's wages amount to the same figure of $157m, plus $40.5m going to agents and brokers. that is simply a staggering amount of money for one player. kaka has so far shown his loyalty by rejecting the offer. but c'mon kaka, take the money. no one would fault you for it. i know if it was me, man city would have had me at hello. redshirt
Rafa's b!tching is starting to sound Jose-esque. We might also hear him say "The linesman scored." in a week or two. B!tching won't win you the BPL, I have always been against rafa's crazy rotation plan. Don't get me wrong. I believe he is a good manager but he is too unorthodox. Quote Link to comment
_eRon_
nice win against wigan midweek & if manutd wins against bolton this weekend, the red devils will be top of the EPL again .. i think the comments of rafa against sir alex were triggered by an underlying cause, the papers have said that the contract talks between liverpool & rafa are strained because rafa wants total control of transfers but the american owners want to have a say..he should back his talk with results in the pitch, right now liverpool are found wanting ..thats why sir alex comments are respected because he backs it up with results & trophies .. damaso
barcelona 5 deportivo la coruna 0 there's really not much more to say about barca. another unbelievable goal by messi, another incredible performance by barca. dani alves had an outstanding match as well. in my opinion, he is the second most important player for the team. the goals - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=388OWp9EX0Y&eurl Quote Link to comment
redshirt
Who's back on top of the EPL? Quote Link to comment
damaso
if you think man utd always gets the calls, watch real madrid in la liga. this last weekend, osasuna had 2 clear penalties denied them and not only that: their striker was dismissed for "diving". against getafe last month, pepe blatantly pulled down the getafe's striker who was in the clear. the striker was past him about to be one-on-one with the keeper, and pepe grabs him by the collar from behind. an obvious red card. no card, not even a foul. about 2 months ago, madrid were behind at home and the referee added a full 6 minutes instead of the 3 minutes which was shown by the fourth official, giving real madrid just enough time to draw level. _eRon_
manutd wins carling cup semifinal against derby, 4-2, and advance to the final of the carling cup against either tottenham or burnley nani, o'shea, tevez & c.ronaldo score and give the red devils the chance to win their 2nd trophy of the 2009 campaign, the younger players were able to play with the likes of foster, chester, gibson, and welbeck playing great..tosic, the newest signing wasn't able to play but he has impressed at training and will likely play in utd's next game against spurs in the fa cup.. wilson palacios has signed for tottenham as well as the chelsea reserve gk cudicini..spurs are now targeting inter milan's materazzi..the palacios signing has put jenas & huddlestones futures in doubt; with jenas being recruited by mourinho's inter milan and huddlestone is being signed by former spurs manager martin jol at hamburg..hamburg's nigel de jong is still in talks with manchester city; craig bellamy has signed with city from west ham united..
