probably the most impressive thing with barcelona is the fact that 7 out of the starting 11 in the final were from their famed youth academy "la masia" - messi, xavi, iniesta, puyol, valdes, pique, and busquets were all homegrown talent developed by barca.

 

in this modern age where ridiculous amounts of cash is being splashed around (i.e. real madrid's galacticos, abramovich's chelsea, and now manchester city), its refreshing to see a club like barca climb the summit.

manutd has signed a new shirt sponsor deal with AON Corporation for the 2010/11 season worth 20million pounds for year for 4years(80 million pounds!!!), making the deal as of now, the highest shirt sponsor deal for a football club in the world ...
