vaevictusxxx
i have been watching our phil. soccer team play on television of course cause the venue is in bacolod and i lack the means to travel over there ,i should say that they are good but they can be better cause i can not help noticing that in every game they played we seem to lack on defence, yes we score 2-3 points and don't get me wrong i like us scoring those points but in return we give an ave. of 3-4 points to the oppositions and that's not good, our phil. team should focus more in defence and preventing their opponent to score and to control the game, having said these i pray for the best for our football team(men, women)and that someday we can enter the world cup Quote Link to comment

_eRon_
problem naman talaga sa mga newly-promoted teams ang consistency... ang kailangan lang talaga nila ay magsurvive sa first term... champions' league results... rangers 1 - inter milan 1> the draw was enough for rangers to secure their place in the round of 16 and become the first scottish team to qualify in the knockout stages... brazilian striker adriano made the glasgow fans tense by scoring in the 30th... but danish midfielder peter lovenkrands slot past francesco toldo in the 38th to level the score... artmedia 0 - porto 0> despite the draw, it was enough for artmedia to secure third place in group h and continue their european adventure... rain relentlessly poured over bratislava resulting to a sloppy game... coupled by the tense waiting game for the result from the other group simultaneously in glasgow... liverpool 0 - chelsea 0> nothing fancy about this one... betis 0 - anderlecht 1> the belgian side finally broke their dismal 12-game losing streak... defender vincent kompany angling strike in the 44th flew in between keeper antonio doblas' legs... despite losing... betis had already clinched the third place in matchday 5... lyon 2 - rosenborg 1> the french champs ended the group stage on a high note with their youth nucleus briefly taking over... highly-touted karim benzema rifled in on the 33rd... but daniel braaten flicked a header in the 68th to equalize... but brazilian fred spiraled one 3 minutes in stoppage time to give the lyon the upperhand... rosenborg will have a spot in the uefa cup round of 32... real madrid 1 - olimpiacos 2 > the spanish giant was understrength with several key players not joining the trip to greece and with interim head coach juan ramon lopez caro at helm... but sergio ramos gave the galacticos the lead with a header from a set piece in the 7th... however... the greeks responded in the 50th with a volley from erol bulut... then legendary rivaldo surged in the 87th to give the greeks a good end note to their european campaign... milan 3 - schalke 2> milan banked on two second half goals from kaka to secure first place in group e... andrea pirlo curled a free-kick in the 42nd to start the scoring... christian poulsen levelled things up in the 44th... then brazilian kaka struck in the 52nd and 60th to give the italians the cushion... another brazilian lincoln gave schalke a glitter of hope in the 66th but the germans have to settle for third place and a place in the uefa cup round of 32... psv 2 - fenerbache 0> with the death of frits philips as their inspiration, the dutch champs reached the round of 16 for the second straight time... captain philip cocu header in the 14th gave the lead and jefferson farfan flick in the 85th secured the win for eindhoven... _eRon_
walanghiya, napahiya ako sa fearless forecast ko, kompiyang kompiyansa ko na mananalo kami..masamang masama loob ko sa pagkatalo ng manU..ewan ko ba..paminsan ang galing2x, minsan naman ang buraot, ewan ko ba..basta may kulang sa team na to, there should be changes made this january, major changes, good changes.. gaya nga ng sabi ko dati..get rid of players na naguunderperform namely ferdinand (nawala na kompiyansa ko sa kanya), ronaldo (ang bilis tumumba, mas ok pa si park, kaso pereho silang di marunong dumipensa, nakakabwiset), o'shea (mas gusto ko pa si wes brown sa kanya), fletcher, miller.. what they need (january transfer window):-holding defensive midfielder (mas maganda mala-Keane ang style)..-left/right midfielders (at least 1, mas ok kung 2,un makakapagcross ng ayos & consistent sa depensa)-central defenders (ferdinand=inconsistent).. players they definitely need to keep:-Rooney-Van Nistelrooy-Heinze-Van Der Sar aaaahhh! kakabwiset tlaga, anyway prang bida sa action movies sa simula nagpapatalo, sana makabawi na sila by next season..Go ManU!! _eRon_
