Anything thats speciality coffee with a barista that knows how to pull a shot. Doesn't matter if you have the best speciality beans and best machine, if your barista doesn't know how to calibrate or pull a shot of espresso, it does not matter if your Yardstick or Toby's, it would still be a bad cup of coffee.

Trusted coffee shop in the Metro is of course Yardstick. Notable shops are Dueces, Tobys, Spotted Pig, H Proper, Satori.

Sometimes the reason for a bad cup even though its a specialty coffee shops, usually the lack of training for the barista, or the lack of oversight. To pull a good cup, there are a few extra steps that you would take, that sometimes its tedious, or some might say its a hassle, just skip that step etc. I understand sometimes, that the influx of customer is just too much for the shop, and they just want to push out as many coffees as possible during that rush hour. They wouldn't want to be dealing with angry customer of course.
