if you guys wanna come on a comedy bar and don't wish to get yourself waiting... be there before the main show starts at 9pm. All comedy bars along Quezon Ave. start at those time..

Entrance are commonly priced at P250 (on regular days) and high up when there are guess bands or celebrities. Usually its not more than P500.

Just went to that comedy club near the corner of Buendia and Roxas Blvd (Jan. 9, 2007) - FUNLINE....

my 1st time to go to a comedy bar in the Phil. in ages.

Well, Tuesday would be an off-night for any club, but the gay comedians were a shocker for my wife and I. We're not prudes but...whew...anyway, something different. But I would not be able to stomach this type of 'comedy' on a regular basis. We had complimentary entrance tickets - guess what?, they gave us free tickets again to visit again. BUSINESS MUST BE BAD!

It wasnt bad - actually, tawa naman kami. But the leve of sophistication in the jokes, the entire bawdiness and downright superficial nature....di ko masyadong trip. I think I would prefer comedians with a little more flair and better routine - wala na ba sina Gary Lising, Nanette Inventor ...I sound like I'm talking from my generation past...

Oh well, at least Boobsie and the Gang there sang "Leaving on a Jet Plane" before we actually board the plane the next day...

CHEERS!

i think your observation is entirely correct. i have seen one show 5 years ago and definitely not going to waste time to see another one even for free. it is primarily a watering hole with an entertainment catered to the occasion. usapang lasing kung baga. most of these pseudo entertainers are just there for the money and lacked the humor in their life and necessary formal education. it is rather pathetic considering that a lot of filipino entertainers have lived and worked overseas one would wonder what they have gained intellectually. also with the internet, it is very easy just to see how the international professionals do it and learn from it. i look forward to see the economy gets better so we can afford have "imports" even balikbayans.

majority of our comedy bar features gay stand up which mock themselves and make fun of the audience.... sometimes they become too lame... kasi puro patawa using the physical features of themselvees and others... they have reduce comedy into slapstick types... stereotyping pipol around them and themselves not knowing that they have become the butt of their own jokes... that why some pipol look down on gay pipol... if they want to raise the standard and their profession they should look into other source of comedy\\\\\\ look at mga stand up s USA that why i m an avid fan of JAY LENO..... a mixture of all may slapstick cya may intelligent joke may satyrical... even political....

along Alabang-Zapote Rd., Las Pinas, near RFC/Manuela1.

entrance fee depends if there's a special show.

i forgot the range, but i'm sure its affordable.

tagal na nmin d nkakapunta dun... but we'll surely be there when i get home.
