METALFREAK
Avelino "SAMBOY" Lim, if only he was able to finish a whole season. He played every game as if it is his last game. Even in his last year when Ron Jacobs was managing his minutes, he still played that way and once again failed to complete a Season. He is my favorite player when I was a child. Next to him was Ricardo Brown and Allan Caidic. Samboy was the reason I Became a SMB Fan For Life. 1 Quote Link to comment

DomPerignom
Abet Guidaben in 1989, this was the year he played in 2 of the first 3 conferences for San Miguel Beer in their grand slam season but figured in a controversial trade which sent him to Purefoods before the 3rd conference in exchange for Ramon Fernandez. Fernandez was named MVP that season. Quote Link to comment

Mar16
Samboy Lim. I remember aside from being called the Skywalker, he is also known as the Dragon. Simply the best PBA player not to have been declared as MVP. He was an all-star game MVP though. Quote Link to comment
