Sniper-X
Now who says that AIRSOFT is more MIL-SIM than PAINTBALL..... Does airsoft got grenades, grenade launchers, rocket lauchers and landmines? Also, PAINTBALL MARKERS create more realistic FIRING SOUND than AIRSOFT GUNS..... Oh before I forget.....paintball do also have pistols.... Edited May 18, 2007 by Sniper-X Quote Link to comment
james_bandido
sniper-x, those are nice markers indeed ... but then considering that paintball is an expensive hobby here in the phils ... we started paintball here in '86 and didnt take up much ground since it was then labelled as "hobby of the elite and rich" ... moreso, milsim died in the PI when they introduced speedball, thus much of the oldies and pioneers shifted to airsoft ... btw, i still have my nelson splatmaster, tippman .68 special, kingman spyder, dye dm4 and even a sheridan vm68 ... cheers !!! Sniper-X
James_bandido, I definitely agree with you that paintball is indeed a very expensive hobby.... Quote Link to comment
Hekate
airsoft is better in my opinion. I got nothing against paintball enthusiasts, I think they enjoy it as much as an airsofter enjoys using replicas. As others have posted before me, it really depends on what you get out of it. Peace to all. :headsetsmiley: Quote Link to comment
yuppy88
I like airsoft coz the guns looked more realistic..... JAMES BANDIDO for president.. Quote Link to comment

dakine48
i prefer airsoft for the realistic guns. Quote Link to comment
battlemaster_2006
Airsoft guns designs are generally more realistic compared to Paintball markers Honesty system ang hit tracking sa Airsoft. Sa Paintball, hits are hard to deny. Messy nga lang sa Paintball. In general, mas realistic ang ammo capacity sa Paintball play, compared sa Airsoft - sa Airsoft it's not uncommon for players to carry hundreds and thousands of rounds as ammo. Paintball ammo sobrang labo yata ma-recycle hehehehehe. I've known Airsoft players who scavenge used rounds for reloading. Dito sa Pinas, mas marami kang makakalaro ng Airsoft kesa Paintball. Any other comparisons? Quote Link to comment

steven_crimes
airsoft is growing at a much faster rate than paintball, so tens of thousands of people can't go wrong... but paintball is fun and affordable... if you just play maybe once every 6 months. but if you want to play at least once a month, airsoft is the way to go... CRaZzY
Just a question......since me mga checkpoint tayo sa metro manila..... and more realistic yun Airsoft guns ..... pano tayo makaka iwas sa unwanted arrest... much more of a "Kotong" me permit ba to carry and san nakukuha? or anong mga usual modus ng mga pulis natin para tayo ay makotongan pag na tyempo na nakitaan tayo ng airsoft guns. You need to have a car in carrying your Airsoft guns... hirap naka labas ito..... swerteng huli ka agad......... patanong lang po....... Quote Link to comment
