otlums
tama nga yun iba... mga bobo... here is my experience. i went to their shop sa may vito cruz yata yun to have my car checked kasi pag inaapakan yun brake pedal umiilaw yun light sa may dashboard, ang sabi sa akin hinde daw nya madetect kung san yun problema and kailangan daw nya ibaba yun buong dashboard then rewiring daw nya. wag na lang. then pinacheck ko nalang sa isang auto electrician near our place ang problema lang pala is mali yun bulb na nakabit sa tail light, imbes na double polarity ba tawag dun eh single lang yun nakalagay. ayun eh di ayos na problema ndi na kailangan baba yun dashboard at rewiring pa. san kaya nila nakukuha mga trabahador nila? baka mga mekaniko ng bike yun hinde kotse. hahaha. dikhedd
I had a really lousy experience with their Meralco Ave. branch (malapit sa Metrowalk). I brought my car in because may tunog sa right front wheel. Sabi ko suspecha ko yung wheel bearings sira na. They performed this multi point check up with this long checklist. At the end of it, ang daming recommended parts na palitan at kung anu-ano pa that totaled 70k in parts and labor. WTF?! May tunog kasi talaga eh. Tinawag ko yung service manager, na obliga mag check si mokong at guess what he said? Sir sira na yung bearing mo. Eh kung di ka ba naman koops eh yun nga yung pinasok ko eh. Imagine kung wala akong alam sa auto nagbayad ako ng 70k for things I didn't need and di nagamot yung problema ko. RAPIDE SUCKS. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I took it to my friend's shop (2nd option ko kasi malayo, nasa may SM North pa) at naayos ang bearing ko wala pang 2k kasama na labor. Quote Link to comment
bastus1n
Same venue. I took my car to them look at my brake pads. they looked into the brake pads and everything else -- shocks, wheel alignment, etc. they were going to charge me 25K for the repairs. i didnt bite. I took my car to Servitek along e rod. they fixed my car for less than 2K all in. Quote Link to comment
songster
let me add my name to the list of those with bad experience with Rapide. Dagdag palagi. Take a brand new car in and I am sure they will find lots of things to fix. Quote Link to comment
DonImus
They charge too much and you get this feeling that they're trying to skin you. i just usually go to a shell service station or somewhere similar. Quote Link to comment
boyhood81
try this.. change oil to avail free check up.. if ther's something wrong go to your autoshop for repair what's the rapide check up results Quote Link to comment
yhance
if your very much familiar with your car it is much better to bring your own parts instead in case you know the cause but it should be oem (original equipment manufacturer) or much better aftermarkets...oem parts could be purhased in Pasay rtd. near LRT edsa the shops that i do recommend are Carpower,Partstar (for japanese autos) because they sell original or replacement parts....at a a very affordable price and this are the suppliers of many CASAS like Bathala (a.k.a. Carsavers),Rapide....dont get overpriced by these casas go direct to supplier itself Edited September 5, 2007 by yhance Quote Link to comment
icymyk
overcharged po talaga pricing nila.minsan kahit hindi naman yung ang ipapaayos momagrerecommend pa sila. nagpapalinis lang ako ng aircon beforenag quote: replace freonreplace drierreplace exp valvereplace evap? - huh? price - for evap 14ktotal services - 18k?????sobra naman Quote Link to comment
yhance
Dapat you should ask for an estimate or quotation at least three to five shops...keep in mind that you should always consider the quality of the service and the price that you are paying for..... Quote Link to comment
purpleheart88
went to rapide shaw. ok service. you just have to know more or less what is problem with the car so that they would not keep on replacing parts not needed. Quote Link to comment
