MrEnygma
Finished CSM 42K strong and injury free...hindi na tayo nagkitakita @floppy at @ppdd.tagal ko tumambay sa recovery area after nung takbo. hehe nakatulong yung malamig na weather nung takbo ko. di ako drained like last year... mas ok yung takbo this year (IMHO), kaysa last year... funny experience after run, kakain sana ako sa IHOP, then nung sabi ng waiter sa pinto, "sa taas po may pwesto sir", sabi ko "Ha!? wala sa baba miss?" ahh stairs... sadly may dalawang runners na namatay. God bless sa kanila. anyway, with usual after run body pains, san tayo magpaparecover @ppdd? hahaha 1 Quote Link to comment

ppdd
FR on CSM 2016category: 42kmweather: sakto lang. may konting rain showers along the way first time ko tumakbo sa skyway. dapat nung 2014 pero dahil sa yolanda, nde natuloy yung event. then 2015, napilitan akong ibenta yung race kit ko due to injury sa knee. dapat pala a day before andun na ako. fully booked ang sogo at sogo jr sa may alabang. buti nalang may natuluyan pa din ako (sa family friend) kahit late notif. magkahalong kaba at excitement. kasama ko sa run yung boss ko. sinabayan ko yung pace nya. sya kasi yung may training talaga. ako sariling sikap lang haha ok naman yung start namin. naglalaro between 7.5mins to 8mins yung pace namin upto 21km. dun ko na sya pinauna kasi nagstart na pulikatin yung left thigh ko, malapit sa tuhod. buti nalang after ilang meters, medyo nawala. dito ko na din nakita si idol papi Spirit220 nung around 4hrs 30mins, nasa bandang 30-31km na ako. malapit na halos sa u-turn slot ng 21km. dun na naubos ang lakas ko. nilakad/power walk ko nalang halos yung remaining distance. took me 2hrs para dun sa 10km! ampf! wala ako pulikat pero nde na ako makatakbo. parang kulang sa LSD. nag merge na din yung route ng 21km, 10km at 6km so ang sikip na talaga. still glad i was able to finish without any injuries (2 paltos lang sa daliri sa paa). time: 6hrs 42mins (previous time ko is 7hrs 11mins sa RUPM) nung pauwi, nilakad ko lang papuntang metropolis. lintek na footbridge yan nde ako makaakyat haha anyway, with usual after run body pains, san tayo magpaparecover @ppdd? hahahanyahaha wala na budget papi.. sa sweldo na lang condolence to the two runners who died during the marathon... they were only 38y/o and 40y/o. uu nabasa ko din 'to the day after.. floppydrive
Kailan Kaya ako makakasali...If you already run regularly, just sign up for a distance you're comfortable with and a race which is OK with your schedule. If you're just beginning to run, take it slow and build up your distance to 3Km, then sign up na for your first event. :-) Running is the easiest sport to get into. No need to wait for a court, or even other players to compete against. All you need is your time and a good pair of running shoes. Tara, takbo na! :-) Quote Link to comment
