question po. Any suggestions on a good running route sa quezon city. something at least 10 k long and with minimal incline/decline?

 

I'm not from QC, but the only flat area that friends recommend is the UP oval. One round is 2.2km with very minimal change in elevation. It is relatively safe and well shaded from the sun. On weekends, the oval is closed to vehicular traffic so less pollution too.

for those who complete the series (RU1,2, 3) last year, kasali ako dun.. sabi may special event daw para sa mga makakakumpleto nung 3 runs (21k, 32k, 42k)

pero parang wala naman nangyare.. hahaha

starting Monday (Feb 3) eh magstart na daw sila ng registration sa PSE Ayala...

 

BUT WAIT! There's more!!!

 

...you can already get the race kits on the same day!!! yay!!!

 

Mukhang wala na din yung option to register thru sm ticketnet starting Monday

so ayun.. kitakits sa bull run!

I am trying out the sampleplan for the sub1 event.

ang hirap pala nang aerobic recovery. kelangan nasa 60% to 70% ka nang Heart rate zone mo for 45 minutes. Mga sirs/ma'am paaano ninyo namamaintain yun. ako kasi pag nasa 68% na ilalakad ko na hangnag bumalik sa 62%. tapos jog ulit. Hindi ko talaga mamaintain na nasa 65% eh. Ok na ba yon ganun style ko?

Control lang talaga ng pace para mapasok ang heart rate sa target range. So kailangan talaga mag-practice ng takbo (jog o slow run) o lakad (slow walk, brisk walk) na pag ginawa mo yun, pasok ka sa tamang range.
