Question:

How do you really paint a kit? Brush? Air brush?

 

Cause I started collecting (again... 3MGs, 2HGs, and an SD) I really want to paint them, though I just want to keep the original colors and add effects to it

 

And what are the materials/equipments do I need?

^it all depend on your preference, the economical choice is the ordinary brush & the more expensive choice is the airbrush

 

ordinary brush comes in different sizes which is good when painting fine details, but in general takes more time to complete your painting job

^most gandam kits come in japanese instructions which we dont understand, i would suggest to wash the plastic components in a warm water with soap to clean it before applying paints because paint dont adhere to dirt & oil

yup, i've heard but then you get what you pay for, parts that could not be connected properly or missing

kung bibili ka sa toy sections ng department stores, mahal talaga kumpara sa mga toy shops sa greenhills. di hamak na mas mura dun at marami-raming choices ng model kits: wide variety of series, scale, etc.

Model kits sold at Malls e. Bandai, are snap builts, no need for glue, mostly on default colors so painting is optional.

 

No, depending on the brand that you will be buying, you may use glue in order to hold the parts firmly in place. This is true to some Bootleg brands.
