D. Sanchez
D. Sanchez, how long were you in the service? 5 years since October. I am already in my mid-20s. GI Bill is covered for U.S. Colleges and Universities. I am not sure if it is accredited if schools in the Philippines are accepted here except for University of the Philippines by the U.S. Veterans Affairs on this matter. Masyadong maraming matalino sa UP. Hindi ko kayang pantayan ang mga utak ng UP med studs. Mga robot or cyborg na sila hindi na tao. Quote Link to comment

D. Sanchez
Question? how about if the husband has heppa and his wife had injected a anti virus. will their children be infected? Yes, their children can be infected too. Better to complete the 3 dose vaccine plus boosters.... Cost 550 per vial. must be vaccinated on every three succeeding months plus booster vaccine in 6 months to 12 months. For babies a few days old. Anti-Hepa vaccine are already available cost around 450 to 550 pesos per vial. Quote Link to comment
Dirty_Harry
PHILHEALTH is also covering the charges of newborn babies on Hepa-B vaccination program. It cost about PhP 750.00 for 1st dose plus included in the package is the Newborn Screening! Quote Link to comment

But yours is in an "inactive" state, so to speak. In layman's term, parang quiet lang sha.. There is no need for treatment at this point. We consider certain criteria before we start a patient on treatment. And yes, there are a lot of treatment options now available for chronic hep B. In your case, i would recommend repeat SGPT and HbeAg / anti HBe after 3 or 6 months, just to check... Quote Link to comment

You have to repeat HBeAg, anti HBe and SGPT levels after 6 months. or 3 months, earliest. Quote Link to comment
johardue
Effective ba yong BAraclude Entecavir... Puede bang i taka kasama ang mga herbal supplement? Hi. Regarding Baraclude, effective namn in contolling yung replication or pagdami ng virus although probably not 100%. As mentioned in this thread, dapat u should've fufilled a criteria before undergoing treatment otherwise walang bisa yang gamot na yan. Isa pa you have to take it for months or years on end Ok lang namn sya i-take with herbal supplements pero honestly kung yng herbal supplimnets na tukoy mo ay yong para sa liver, walang silang silbi against the Hepa B virus. angel_by_day
i dont want to get into trouble with the producers of whatever herbal supplement....but id prefer that you do not take baraclude with any of these supplements...ask your gastro about it. Quote Link to comment
johardue
Pls don't misinterpret. I've nothing against herbal supplements for the liver.I mean I don't think they're of no benifit. Parang vitamins din sila or like most supplements. Their labels would say "no approved therapeutic claim". They are not cures for specific conditions. What they do is try to improve the overall condition of the body or a particular organ. So if anyone is taking them to cure Hepa B or just because they tested positive or reactive for HBsAg I suggest discuss it first with your doctor or better yet a Gastro. Baka umaasa ka sa wala o nagsasayang ng pera. Just a friendly advice Quote Link to comment
otitismedia
just want to clarify things...treatment of hepatitis B doesn't mean that after the treatment you are cured. it only slows down the disease. am i right doctors? Quote Link to comment
