royceg
the best I know in Iloilo is Days Hotel. I don't stay anywhere else but here. Quote Link to comment
heavygatin_but_cutie
when I was in Iloilo, I stayed at Sarabia Manor hotel and Iloilo Business Hotel.... please take note that there are 2 SM Department stores in Iloilo...are you referring to the one nearer to the airport? Iloilo Business Hotel is better in terms of nightlife as there are a lot of restos and bars just beside the hotel or within the street... you can check this website: http://iloiloonline.blogspot.com/2006/03/h...loilo-city.html Quote Link to comment
chefdoctor
nice hotel.. lapit sa gimikan Quote Link to comment
jaguar_18
i stayed at the hotel on top of the old biscocho house, it's about 10-15 minutes away from the town. if you're not that particular with the accommodation, the place's okay, cheaper than days. i want to go back to iloilo, i was on a business trip when i went there. cozy place with nice food. the problem is the language barrier (definitely don't speak and understand ilonggo) and my acquaintances ther already went abroad. so now, i'm looking for a companion to tour me there :upside: Quote Link to comment

tacio
yup pag gimik sa smallville or sa Sarabia. Sa hotel, the best service and cleanest I tried is the 1 in front of Gaisano City. Best value for Money. But it doesnt have a lot of rooms. Quote Link to comment
itikbitik
@topeggs that's tatoy's you are describing There really are no quality beaches in Iloilo but top quality beaches are just 15 to 20 mins boat ride away in the neighboring island of Guimaras You can rent the boat and go island hopping. Best Island I've been to in Guimaras is still Isla Naburot (try to Google it) Other Islands are Siete Pecados (trans seven sins but unfortunately not a very sinful prospect ), Tatlong Pulo, etc Hotels in Iloilo: Sarabia Manor, Hotel del rio, and Days Hotel are the major ones If you want to be where the gimik is there are two hotels in Smallville. Iloilo Business Hotel is one of them. Iloilo is really for those who enjoy food. Seafoods are abundant. Quote Link to comment

I'd recommend Iloilo Business Hotel, one of the newest hotels in the city, and smack in the middle of a gimmickan area. Quote Link to comment
DonZiAq
Yes to Iloilo Business Hotel. But there is this newest Hotel just in front of it, Westown (MO2) Hotel. Same amenities as Iloilo Business Hotel, pero may FREE broadband connection sa lahat ng room and like sa Business Hotel Wi-Fi enabled naman sa lobby. Both Hotel is in Smallville too WOW! and almost the same yong price ng room nila .... Tara na sa Iloilo Quote Link to comment

DonZiAq
GOING TO ILOILO SOON. SAAN MASARAP ANG BATCHOY, UNG ORIGINAL! TED's siyempre Quote Link to comment
Dr_PepPeR
TED's siyempre A couple of decades ago, Ted's beat out all their competition in the batchoy business in Iloilo City, now you could even have it in Baguio. But if you are adventurous, I suggest you try eating the bachoy at the market itself. Ted's started out in the market itself and most of the ingredients like the sahog, are fresher. Downside is it is not air-conditioned and of course, you'll have the flies trying to eat with you. Quote Link to comment
