fireyfoxy
Just got back from Kyoto and Osaka with quick side trips to Matsuyama, Hiroshima, and Nara. Definitely amazing place to visit, especially Kyoto. 3 days is definitely not enough to see and absorb all of its beautiful places. I got tired because I was walking and hiking to all the different spots trying to squeeze 2-3 attractions a day to make my trip worth it. In the end, I my legs and back were tired from all the walking but hey, at least I got my money's worth Quote Link to comment

JaneBlane
Kyoto is such a cool place! The temples and gardens are absolutely gorgeous, especially when the cherry blossoms are in bloom or the leaves change colors in fall. Wandering the historic streets and trying out the local food makes it feel like a fun adventure every time! Quote Link to comment

Holly Golightly
Japan is the only country where I feel safe enough to travel solo. I've visited three times and spent time in Kyoto, Osaka, Kobe, Nagoya, and Tokyo. I always go in November and December when the weather is pleasantly cool. I love doing my Christmas shopping there, and the lit-up trees that line Omotesando are such a vibe. Quote Link to comment
