chessboxin
Even Japanese people stay away from Kabukicho because not only is it a hot-bed of scams, some bars will literally spike your drinks and you'll just suddenly pass out. When you wake up they'll say you drank 500,000 yen worth of drinks and they won't make you leave. Literally worse than any bar here in PH. If you don't speak Japanese you will also be prone to billing scams. You'll suddenly see a lot of surcharges you didn't know about and they won't make you leave. Japan is generally a safe place except literally this area infested with Yakuza and Nigerian fraudsters. Soaplands are located around Asakusa. They're called "Yoshiwarai". Some of them accept foreigners but knowledge of some basic Nihongo is a must. And yes they cost an arm and a leg. Also, there's no assurance you'll be getting a Japanese girl. A lot of them are Chinese or Koreans who can speak fluent Japanese. You won't be able to tell unless you're native Japanese who can sense their accent. Ingat lang. While Japan is generally safe, it ain't a paradise and always remember it's not your country. Edited December 22, 2023 by chessboxin Quote Link to comment

There are soaplands in Kabukicho that cater to foreigners but Don Juan & Barubola are on the expensive side and they also add gaijin tax. IIRC Max is the only soap that doesn't add gaijin tax in Kabukicho. As for Yoshiwara, some providers have Twitter/X accounts. Some of them explicitly state on their profiles that foreigners are ok. If you guys contact one, tell them upfront that you are using Google Translate (if you don't speak Japanese but I think some are ok with English). Also, tell them ahead if you are cancelling. One of the shops has started requiring foreigners to come to the shop & pay 1 day before the appointment due to no-appearances from gaijin customers. On 12/25/2023 at 2:47 AM, mstrmarkus said: Any recos for gaijin friendly soapies in osaka? No soapland in Osaka. There is a Mat Health - Club Amour. Since it's a health service there's no FS, but there are reports online of some providers giving that service. CyrillFiggis is correct, better to ask on TAG, but read some threads first before asking there. On 12/25/2023 at 10:49 AM, CulturalAioli said: Soapland and THC website Reminder that THC & its affiliates has been banned in TAG due to fake reviews and some other reason. Lastly, make sure to wear face masks when going to known establishments/red-light districts in Japan. There are YouTubers/vloggers who do walking videos or live streams in places like Kabukicho & the shinchi areas. Quote Link to comment

Look for hotels around the center ( if may budget ) medyo budget is APA HOTEL or nearby airbnb ( much cheaper ). Check booking.com marami doon. depende sa preferred mong location and most of your itinerary. ( mas ok if yung hotel mo ay nasa gitna ka ng mga pupuntahan mo.
