kenji_1989
Gamit kong ISP is Smart Wifi and it is really a HELL. Grabeh as in POOR down to hell ang serbisyo nila. bagal sobra ng internet connection 20Kbps lang sa McAfee Internet Speedometer. Tapos walang alam customer support nila kundi: 1. Sir paki monitor nalang po natin ang connection.2. Upon checking sir wala naman pong technical activity sa area nyo po.3. Sir nag troubleshooting na po ba tayo? TROUBLESHOOTING NILA: a. Delete Cookies and Delete Temporary Internet Files b. Ping ang DNS server c. Restart PC MY GOD!!! And it is already 36 hours and wala paring tawag. Grabeh tapos tatawag sila kung kelan d na ako available sa PC koh!!! Hay talaga naman And worst case na, pag mag papa dc ka, ikaw na nga agrabiyado at luge, kaw pa magbabayad ng remaining months ng subscription m sa 1 year lock in peroid. Grabeh SMART talaga!!! Mga tol na magpapakabit pa lang ng Internet sa bahay, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THAT SMART BRO OR WATEVER. Impyerno buhay nyo diyan and believe me, magtatapon ka lang ng pera. Buti pa ata PLDT or GLobe e. Kung ayaw nyo ma experience ang nangyayari sakin ngaun (up to december pa hell months ko with Smart Wifi) wag na kayo mag subscribe. Kung sa tingin niyo sinisiraan ko Smart WIFI pwes TALAGANG SINISIRAAN KO SILA AND THEY DESERVE THAT!!!! Kayo ano mga ISP nyo? pros and cons suggestions comments and violent reactions are welcome Quote Link to comment

boomouse
5 x E1s in the office into one Mikrotik router with extended range WiFi for laptops and 4 x 48 port Allied Telesyn switch At home: 2 mbps DSL from Bayantel connecting via a Linksys XRG router and Linksys VOIP router and one 48 port Allied Telesyn switch Both connections running off static IPs from my /21 IP allocation from APNIC. sa amin smart wi-fi pero mabilis naman ang internet namin.... ayus nga maglaro ng RAN tsakaGUNBOUND dito eh... nagdadown nga lang yung server kung minsan....I also use Smart Internet through their 3G service off my Moto Razor V3x. Yes, parang land line ang speed as in 1993 era pero okay na rin because: 1. Mobile, you have internet even while stuck in traffic2. cheap, P10 for every 30 minutes. Parang mumurahin na internet cafe But when doing this, it is best to connect via USB cable to your G3 phone so that the battery does not ran down. The phone will charge off your laptop's USB port. Just make sure you have enough power on your laptop. It is also faster than using bluetooth. At work I have 5 IAS E1-class leased lines from Bayantel and they work fine. My Bayantel-supplied 2 mbps DSL at home does drop its speed around 5 pm to about 11 pm each day where you only get 800 kbps. At other times, I can hit 1.4 to 1.7 mbps actual throughput.
