Always been a fan of JRPGs pero medyo konti na lang ang magaganda, di katulad nung PS1 and PS2 days. Now i'm more on FPS and games like Assassins Creed and Uncharted.

*for long game sessions: Sandboxy games that allow long-term changes to the environment or even commerce routes like Carrier Command, Minecraft or Escape Velocity. Also, games that have level editors like Neverwinter Nights, Simcity and Ground Control.

 

*for short game sessions: (Pseudo-)free-roam games like ace combat (flight sim) and homeworld (RTS) as well as the occassional tactical RPG.

 

*killing time/waiting in line: Fast action games that divide gameplay in rounds like Gundam Wing: Endless Duel, Dark Stalkers, Soul Calibur and Jikandia.
