Yes the trainer na alam talaga ginagawa. Na didisiplinahin ka. Madali naman magexercise eh. Yun magdidisiplina at magmomotivate ang importante sa isang trainer. Yun naiintindihan din yun katawan mo pag talagang dapat na ipahinga. But never trust a trainer who is not in good shape 1 Quote Link to comment

When they promise you fast results, call their bullshit! The best trainers are the ones that help you develop a better lifestyle. Because that is what its all about. Hindi lang yan kasi sa loob lang ng gym or during an exercise session. Discipline really takes time. Yun nga sinasabi ko eh, kung ang focus mo ay mas sa lifestyle kesa sa gym mas siguradong hindi ka lolobo. Kasi kung tama naman kain mo, maski matagal ka wala exercise di ka papayat agad. 2. Yes! Never trust a trainer who is out of shape. May kakilala nga ako na nagoffer sakin ng training program. To be fair madami naman sya trophy. Pero pano ako magtitiwala sa tao kung sya alam ko na umiinom, mas malaki pa tyan sa akin. Ang trainer nga dapat magbabago lifestyle mo di ba? Quote Link to comment

sherwinp07
Okay kumuha ng trainer if afford mo. You can learn ung tamang form and other tips sa workout. But pwede mo rin makuha yun through research, observing other gym goers or by asking some of the people sa gym. Usually mababait naman mga tao sa gym Quote Link to comment

neilgayuman
It's great for beginners who have no idea on where to start. They can teach you the correct forms, and show you alternate exercises to mix up your routine. But also for experienced people who have plateaud or lost who need extra motivation to keep going. FromTheDeepSouth
Can anyone recommend an online trainer that specializes in hybrid calisthenics? Preferably yun marunong din ng proper dieting (not just trendy/fad diets) Quote Link to comment

AnakNaTikoy
Just gonna speak from my personal experience. Goal ko talaga is basic/general strength & muscle gain, or at least di humihina habang pumapayat ako. Mainly doing novice-to-intermediate weight lifting with my 1st year or so exclusively doing basic compound lifts - squat, bench, dead, overhead press, lat pulldown, barbell rows. Wala akong balak maging competitive - just lifting to look better naked. I've never needed a personal trainer. Natunan ko yung basics from the r/Fitness wiki and the a few, good quality YT channels for form videos. I also film my own working sets and sometimes post them on r/formcheck to get decent, crowdsourced feedback. In the end, my form isn't perfect, but it's definitely good enough to not be injury prone. This may change as I get stronger over time, or if my goals ever change, or for any number of unforeseen reasons. But for the vast majority of people just trying to get bigger & stronger for health, vanity, etc., a personal trainer is a luxury, not a necessity. Quote Link to comment
HarryFootahp
I don't need personal trainer. It's a waste of time and money. Just learn how to properly lift weight and follow proper program. ☺️ Quote Link to comment
