Tinting also helps you not to see at night. It is not as if the streets are welll lighted. Very Intelligent.

I had my cars tinted years ago.

 

last year i had my front windshield re-tinted bec sa grabe ng init... ang tint lang pala dati is 1/4 lang sa may visor area and not the whole thing. "Magic Black" daw yata.. forgot how much.. at first di ako sanay.. nadidiliman ako, akala mo 5-6pm na magsusunset kahit 12 noon at masikat ang araw. Lalo na at night, parang depressing ang dilim. But nasanay din ako, I guess ok din yung sun protection. And di nga ako nakikita from the outside.. from the front. If they look at the side windows however e kita nila ako.. so i guess it defeats the purpose..hehe

 

then napansin ko just recently kita na pala ako from outside front.. meaning nag fade yung dark tint nya? (pero tinted pa rin) Bakit ganun?

 

Also, just had my rear done naman the other day. After Ondoy kasi, na flood car ko.. I guess very humid sa loob so yung rear windshield naging foggy.. parang na-trap ang moisture between the film and glass. Weird a.. ganun ba yun? Dami ko na ngang gastos dahil sa baha ni Ondoy e pati ba naman Tint e nadale din kahit di naman abot dun ang tubig?

 

So pinagawa ko sa Evangelista.. sa shop talaga offering tint services.. as opposed to those standing on the sidewalk waving at you with strips of film.

 

Cost daw ORDINARY for the REAR W.SHIELD: 500 + 200 labor daw kasi mahirap daw tanggalin yun.. so 700. Fair price ba?

 

Tapos pa quote ko side windows ko.. 500 daw LAHAT na (4) sabi ko wow bakit lakit ng difference.. sabi nya kasi maliit daw cut sa sides lalo na yung backseat kasi may triangle pa di ba.. hmmm pero nagmamadali ako so di ko na pinagawa besides ok pa naman sila..

 

Is this the reg price for Tinting? (ordinary and not the special films )

 

Sabi pa sa akin mas mahal pa nga daw mga naglalako bec sa shop din nila galing tint and then taga sila, minsan di pa expert.

 

Yung nagkabit sa kin expert na expert.. di halata ang dugtungan.. steady hand sa cutter walang ruler parang surgeon..haha

i got v-kool clear installed on my ride. parang walang tint but you wont feel the suns heat kahit tanghaling tapat. worth its price! :thumbsupsmiley:

firstly security cause they don't know what's inside the car. when moving, hindi nila alam kung ilan ang passengers so hopefully they'll think twice before hitting on me. when parked naman, they can't see what's inside the car - specially so kung maraming gamit sa loob. ergo, walang temptation to steal from it.

 

secondly, i usually park the car in uncovered parking lots. masyadong mainit if walang tint yung car specially during lunchtime.

sa LA cars sa malugay bro. nakapromo sila nung time na yun. ewan ko lang kung on going pa. 20k for the whole car. Vkool clear yung akin. parang walang tint eh. pero hindi tumatagos yung init. sulit! :thumbsupsmiley:

Ako tinted lahat ng windows except for the front windshield which I use a magic tint.

Sa una mahirap tlaga. Lalo na magpark sa mga low light areas,
