Destiny .... hmm i have fond. memories ... I was downlaoding a 50 meg movie for 15 mins... that was 1999 .... now ... ahhh it's a nightmare... now it's jus a wide area network.... it's just of network gamming(local destiny subscriber)... don't balime the technical support and customer service they have no control what is happening... it's thier NMS and NOC that's that can do something about it... and also since the cable it outside..corrosion will seep in teh cables... hay I wish is was 1999 all over again ... but some customers in Paranaque are getting good service... but that's beacuse they have new cable and there are few customers in the area... Good Luck Destiny Online Techs and Customer service agents...

Had my destiny cable internet intalled last friday. Its pretty inconsistent. Sometimes its fast sometimes its dead slow. I called customer service and they said its because of the damage done by the earthquake that happened in taiwan. They only have their back up system supporting their subscribers kaya raw slow lalo na pag peak times. They told me to bear with them and they will just rebate the days from the day my internet was installed hanngang maayos nila problema. I dont know if they will do that though. Remains to be seen. Sana mag improve nga!

True, destiny internet is fast in some areas but not in others. If your planning to subscribe better ask the subscribers in your area.

 

Right now internet is slow and it is not limited to Destiny subscribers. The repairs of the damaged undersea cables during Taiwan earthquake are not yet completed. An article in the inquirer last Sunday mentioned that the repair may extend as late as the end of February. I guess all that we can do is ask for a rebate.

Ganyan talaga yung destiny. I was one of their first cable internet subscribers and when they started talagang mabilis sila. but since then they started going down. the connections are slowing down, blame it on destiny that they are not upgrading their equipment. Plus their customer service is bad. but it has improved. the first time i called their customer rep, it took them more than a week to get to my house and fix it. the funny thing is that i live less than a block away from their service center.

I remember when we requested a demo three years ago and only the provider in the vicinity we have no choice but to avail their service. So requested a demo that runs for 7 days... something good came up for us they never follow up or call/bother us how was their service if we are convince. To cut short we have a free internet access for a year or so... We just stop using it because of a poor internet access... hehehe

Some guys are lucky but I am not one of them. Service in our area really bad ang hirap pa tumaag sa tech support. Pinapaputol ko na ang dami pang sasat na check muna raw nila bill pa ng bill useless naman service provide nila. Basta what I told nung tumawag sila sakin Just cut the Damn Line I dont need any bullshit aswer cause Ive been hearing that since January. Ang sama talaga ng service.

I'm a Destiny subscriber and I'm sad to say that service has degraded since the Taiwan earthquake. There are certain areas that have good connections and while the rest suffer the slow, unstable and laggy internet. Destiny has its own forum where members post their grievances about their poor service. However, it seems that their complaints are of no consequence to Destiny. In fact, it appears that the moderators and administrators have abandoned the forum. :angry:

insomnii you're right I did went to their forum di mo na makita ang admin doon at mga moderators, free for all na panay bashing ang nangyari doon fault din naman ng management they didn't do their job and the customer care talagang di mo matawagan swertihan kung may makausap kang customer care sa email nga di na sila sumasagot eh.

just a suggestion... kunin nyo na lang # ng mga nagservice mismo

that's what I do... tas sila na mismo tinatawagan ko...

yun nga lang everytime they go sa hse pinapa-merienda ko na lang...

don't know if you'd approve of this... but just sharing some tip...

worth it naman kasi when my modem broke down because I think it got stuck by lightning (may nagspark kasi)

sila na mismo gumawa ng paraan para mapalitan ako ng bago...
