Wanted: Bar With A Bar

Ano to, trip down memory lane ng mga bars? </span>

 

 

I also used to frequent this place (Jazz Rhythms), our fave then were smooth jazz (Earl Klugh, Lee Ritenour, Joe Sample, Bob James, and the like). Kapag may chick na gusto kong ma-impress, I'll date her duon and we can also chat. Wala pang cellphone then, and the courtship was different. Some years later, a group of friends (80s contemporaries) tried to somewhat replicate this JR bar thing but was not successful. Nagsara narin itong 'Ten Years After' bar.

There's a bar like this in Visayas Ave., QC. But it only serves San Miguel beer. It's near Mila's Lechon

Wow, I've been searching for a bar with a real bar counter that serves cocktails here in Manila. Some place where you can relax listen to mellow music and just be at peace with your drink. I tried driving the streets in Malate-Adriatico area but ended up seeing supposedly "bars" with women wearing skimpy clothing and calling me in. I hope someone can guide me to a place like this other than a hotel bar. Can anyone recommend me to a similar place in the Manila-Pasay area?

These are the last two(2) remaining true bar.. the other one also is the the 'Other Office' along mabini street.

TYA (along sct esguerra) has a bar that can sit about 20 people. It's more of a lounge/wine bar. music's never too loud and it's never packed. Perfect for friday night drinks.

Horses are red along quezon ave! Very cool bar. New place. Don't think it is a month old yet. Cabaret style like the 80s clubs lol.
