Shinobi
Hi! I still have my discarder deck, featuring hymn to tourach, hypnotic specter, the rack, mindstab thrull, etc. That also was way back from my HS days, mga 1999-2000 hehe. Meron pa ba ako makakalaro using this deck? Or pwde pa ba ilaro ito with the current generation of cards? Thanks! Not in Standard or Type-2 format bro but yes pwede naman! :thumbsupsmiley: In casual play you can still have fun with other players pero pag nakita nila na Type-1 yung deck mo they’d probably say no . Also hindi rin sa competition syempre since your cards are mostly Type-1 except for Hypnotic Specter (M10) ang katapat mo syempre Type-1 players din! http://img25.imageshack.us/img25/8580/100re.jpg http://img25.imageshack.us/img25/7525/42408600.jpg http://img94.imageshack.us/img94/7631/370q.jpg http://img200.imageshack.us/img200/4686/82994157.jpg If you want to check out your cards “Legality” try searching for them at:Magic Cards Info.com :goatee: Heck i'd play with you... teka... nasaan na ba yung P9 ko! :boo: Quote Link to comment

Shinobi
is theere a new PC Game Version out? I used to love playing Magic on my desktop Posted this a while back :thumbsupsmiley: enjoy! :boo: well for all you players that would like to try out card combinations and setup but do not have the budget to buy the cards yet and the would'nt want the "hit or miss" thing where you end up with a card that's "uberly expensive but your unable to use" try downloading this!: www.magicworkstation.com  it's a FREE software where you can create your dream decks and play them with every type of player online realtime from all over the world ! the interface is the same as you would have in an actual playing field and it has all the cards from every expansion in the MTG library. This way when you've battle tested your cards thats the time you buy the actual cards that way you only purchase or trade the cards that you only need! saves you a lot of money that way. :thumbsupsmiley: there are two versions - the evaluation and the full version. they're basicaly the same except that the full version is a bigger file since it has the complete images of all the cards. the database is updated as soon as the cards are released so you might see the spoiler set of the M-10 on the list :boo: . Well hope you like this, have fun guys and tell us all about it! :goatee: Quote Link to comment

So Type-1 pala ung sa akin? What makes a card Type 1 or Type 2? Tsaka bakit sa tingin nyo e they will probably say "no" in playing with my Type-1 set-up? Dahil po ba luma na ung cards ko? Bakit po hindi pwde paglabanin ang Type 1 vs Type or something like that? And one more question, suppose I will be going back to playing MC again, can I still set-up a "Discarder-themed" deck again? Are there cards that would give me that same discarding power and capabilities like before? Pasensya na po kung marami ako tanong ah, Hi-skul pa kasi talaga ako huling nakalaro nito and parang I am enticed to play this again! Replies will be very much appreciated! Thanks! Maybe we can arrange a casual MTC/MTG Casual Play EB! Somewhere where we can all come, Raistlin and I can probably arrange a place where we can meet play and trade. :boo: Kami ni Lei were from the Makati Pasay area! :thumbsupsmiley: Ganun ba...E naku, medyo di ako mashado familiar sa mga Type 1 or Type 2 or kung ano mang type ng Magic cards e. A simple explanation is that most Type 1 cards are considered more powerful than the Type 2 set which comes mostly from newer expansions. Kaya for more balanced play, tournaments are organized exclusively for Type 1. :goatee: For example the legendary Power 9 are Type 1 cards and are considered so Because of their abilities:Power Nine http://img188.imageshack.us/img188/6735/power9.jpg Type 1 cards are also categorized as so because of their printing: Limited Edition Alpha, Limited Edition Beta, Unlimited, Revised Edition, Fourth Edition, Fifth Edition etc. are just some examples. curious gentleman
Type 1- Vintage format- Power 9 legalType 1.5- Legacy- Power 9 and other 1 off cards illegalType 2- standard format- Latest sets Type 1 and 1.5 are eternal formats. Its where the old school magic players duel. Its the old format. Eternal because the cards of past and present can be used. Standard format are the latest addition, the thing is that the sets here rotate after a period of time (1 year-2 years or so). Only the new sets of cards are used. I play legacy and standard, di na kaya ng powers ko ang powered cards. Happy na ako with what I have... Quote Link to comment
