Know where we can buy real absinthe here in the Philippines?

 

This drink was banned before in US, Europe and a lot of places.

They are said to cause halocination

yeah they have it in the Philippines. a few liqour stores will have it, just look around. I got mine from ones in malate. didnt hallucinate though, just blacked outl.

robinson's supermarkets usually have a stock of absinth.

meron sa galleria. punta lang kayo sa wine and liquor section. tanong nyo dun.

 

i think the better drink is Bacardi 151. absinth is only 120 proof while the 151 is 151 proof.

so 60% alcohol lang yung absinth. yung 151 naman (75.5%), mas mabisa pa sa rubbing alcohol (70%)sa pagtanggal ng mikrobyo sa katawan. hehehe! :thumbsupsmiley:

 

i just don't know where to get the 151 though. it's banned here in the philippines. :thumbsdownsmiley:

You can buy it here - try at the Liquer Store in Landmark Makati. I think a bottle is around pesos 1,500.00.

 

Probably won't hullicinate anymore cause the brands they sell commercially nowdays don't contain all of the herbs that were used in the original recipes.

 

The original use of the word Lush to describe alcoholics was based on heavy drinkers of this and one long term effects of drinking the original recipes was thought to be madness / hullicinations hence the reason it was banned.

 

Still a good drink to get messed up on though - just don't actually see the little green fairy but as Fortyounce said usually everything just goes black :thumbsupsmiley:

 

You burn sugar into it and add a bit of water to make it taste better...

Sa lahat ng Ralph's meron yan. Lakas talaga tama nyan! yung picture ng Lolo sa bote na parang wasted ay ganun magiging itsura nyo pag uminom ng absinth.

 

Yung bro ko uminom nyan pag suka nya yung suka na nilabas nya na natuyo nung morning naging soft green plastic!!!
