prenster
steiner, ang galing ng diorama mo, the details are great! the shells on the ground are a nice touch. I'm looking into getting into the hobby ulit and pulled out a really old vinyl figure kit. any idea what I can use as "glue"? I've tried 2 part epoxy, superglue, epoxy clay kaya lang pag nag flex tangal agad yung joint. I've roughed up the glue points with sand paper na din. I've also heard na hobbies and comics has a branch sa market market although I've never been to that shop. Quote Link to comment

Dr_PepPeR
magkano kuha mo doc? Josie gave it to me for P1,700. I wonder if this is a limited edition kit? It says in the box only 5,000 kits of the clear hull/turret version were produced. Maybe I should get another one for investment purposes? Quote Link to comment

Actually I dont really care much for the other elements in the dio but I do take pride in the shells :thumbsupsmiley: . In most dioramas you will see plenty of action without a single casing on the ground. It's like all of them are using the new H&K guns with caseless ammunition! Quote Link to comment
shitkid015
mahal po ba ang ganitong hobby Quote Link to comment
bugoy2004
mahal po ba ang ganitong hobby depende sir. if you're starting out you can buy a 1/35 armor kit below 500 pesos. you can use your nailclippers and nailfile to snip and smoothen out the parts before assembly. and you'll need paint which goes for 75 pesos per 10ml bottle. and liquid cement (tamiya Extra Thin) for P180. you can try brush painting with acrylics para pag nagkamali, just use alcohol or acetone to strip the paint and start over. most important of course is patience and passion for the subject you are building. para matipid sa paint you can buy a kit na isang kulay lang. pwede mo naman tingnan yung instruction sheet and painting guide para malaman mo kung anong kulay kelangan mo Quote Link to comment

Dr_PepPeR
http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b40/9723761/DSC_0031.jpg This is a diorama I did some time ago. I basically just wanted to provide a base for all my russian figures so they wouldnt get lost and at the same time, I could also put them on display. That explains the rather mixed quality of figures that are in this diorama. Some of the figures here were made almost 8 to 10 years ago, and others are more recent additions. I still have to venture into 1/35 figure painting, it looks scary. Nice diorama sir, and I like the weathering of the tank. Could you post some closeups of the tank? Quote Link to comment
