ADAM
Any comments on vertical door conversion? TH, if yours didn't come stock with it.   OnT: Resto-Mod (Perf) for old, classic cars. Stock for cars still in warranty period (though some can load aesthetic stuff and still get covered, but not perf mods). Mods galore for old tuners. Quote Link to comment
thepressurebomber
Minimal modification is nice, just to personalize the car a bit. Modifications that are a bit aggressive, to say the least, can compromise the safety of the car itself; i.e. the car was not designed to withstand the modifications. Improper modification could possibly cut corners meant to be spent on, specifically with regards to the structural integrity of the body ( mainly regarding safety, such as crumple zones, braces, brakes, and suspension). I've seen suspension modifications that are simply, dangerous; cutting coil springs to achieve the "lowered" look, instead of buying new sets of lowering springs. Perhaps it is a bit cheaper to do so, but I feel that it is an irresponsible choice, since it is an accident waiting to happen. I have a limit on spending on upgrades. If I were to plan these upgrades, spending 200 grand would be the limit. Spending more would make me feel that I bought the wrong car, and I should have a better stock car instead. I'm still very contented with my lightly modified car. Wheels, interior and trunk lighting, car horn. Quote Link to comment
