sxray
Manual Reason: In an emergency where only a vehicle with a manual transmission is available, one will be able to use it. If you only know how to drive an automatic, you will feel useless in this case. Quote Link to comment
flite1111
well i used to drive a manual tranny....it is ok..... now am using an automatic and never ako binitin ng kotse during overtaking and when i need the power.... i dont think automatic transmissions are only for old people......the comfortability of the drive not the ride is taking in effect...mas gusto ko matraffic using an automatic and wth our kind of streets......and the traffic....i will not switch back to manual..... RED2018
I agree with you 'flite 1111' I used to be sarado manual fanatic, but when tried the new brands of automatic (incl. those with paddle shift- manumatic) parang yaw ko na mag-manual. Mabilis na rin naman responses ng mga bagong breed ng automatic na tsikot.Syempre the manufacturers are improving their craft on all aspect- incl. nga this speed shifting mode. The advantage of power and swift response are now the thing of the past. Although siempre if push comes to shove, manual is it- but di naman tayo karerista... Quote Link to comment
peterparker
Jessieboy
Matic pa rin for me, comfortable lalo na at traffic palagi sa metro. Pwedeng mag drive ng isang paa at isang kamay lang gamit pag matic, downside lang yung sinabi ni doc pete, hindi pwede push start ang matic so kelangan laging meron kang series cable na dala, just in case na madischarge battery. luvh3be
I love manual trans, it is more fun to drive, very rsponsive. However if you are drivingeveryday in manila......... I would really prefer automatic, especially days that when you see cars that are bumbers to bumbers. Quote Link to comment
flite1111
subukan niyong itulak at ikadyot ang `matic pag natirikan kayo o nadiskarga ang battery niyo.. ewan ko lang kung saan kayo pupulutin.. hehe tsaka ang `matic malakas talaga lumamon ng gasolina.. butas ang pitaka niyo :mtc: korek ka diyan, kaya nga it is nice to read the thread about things you should have in your car.... included dapat na may dala ka palagi na jumpstart cable......flag down a taxi, makijumpstart ,say thank you and give P100 pa kunswelo de bobo....kung battery problem....kaya as a personal thing for me, weekly i take the time out to have my batteries checked, discipline na din yun as a car owner and driver..... regarding itirik, may button ang shift stick ng mga matic cars para mailagay mo siya sa nuetral position......pwede pa din itulak sa mga side..... pero kahit matic pa yan or manual, pag nagloko ang mga sasakyan natin, ewan ko din lang kung saan tayo lahat pupulutin.....pinakamalas pa pagnadaanan ka ng tow truck na mga yan...... malakas sa gas, yes....i can handle that pa naman, kasi may 300liters/month kami na gas allowance sa work....wala na ako problema diyan... peace guys..... Chickquero
Driving an automatic is like driving a fancy golf cart. :thumbsupsmiley: Quote Link to comment
tomward
I am enjoying automatic kasi pag may incline naka rest pa rin ako. The difference with timing is so miniscule nowadays, very responsive na rin ang mga automatic. Mahirap nga lang kapag driving downhill kagaya ng Baguio pudpod brakes mo sa automatic.
