marvin_8
manual= more power, priviledge, edge? matagal din ako nag-manual, puro pasakit at tirik din naranasan ko sa kanya. nung nakakuha ko ng frontier, i made sure na hindi na ako kukuha ng manual ulit. now i'm on my 3rd automatic car. i was driving since i was 15.. i'm now 27... i have cars of different makes and models... i tried automatic transmissions.... i just didn't like the feel of it. titirik ka talaga basta luma na.pag 5yrs old na kotse mo ibenta mo na para di ka abutan ng sira.not unless ford, benz, jag or bmw pang matagalan yun. a Japanese cars life is 5 to 8yrs.. pag lumagpas ka dun .. sasakit na ulo mo.mas maganda tumirik sa manual kesa sa automatic dahil ang manual puwedeng itulak. my two cents lang po ginoo, kung parati ka nasa traffic, pa-ahon (like where i live) at matagalan na biyahe, mas gugustuhin ko pa ang matic. kung mabilis lang at deretso, baka bumalik ulit ako sa manual. hindi naman kailangan makipagkarerahan parati eh. sayang lang ang gears sabagay .. pag automatic hindi ka mamomroblema sa timpla ng clutch at gas... but do you know that automatic transmission consumes more fuel than manual? lalo na pagtraffic... pag nasira ang transmission ng manual it would only cost you 5 thou the highest... pag matic .. aabutin ka ng 15 thou pataas.. depending on the type of your car. i don't say that i race the streets.... i drive different cars to work depending on the traffic and the mood. so kung pang mabilis ang gusto mong takbo you use a fast car. if you want driving comfort then you choose another. don't limit yourself to just one car. mahihirapan ka niyan. bumili ka pa ng isa para may pang alternate ka at hindi masira agad ang auto mo. napapagod din at mabilis nagdedepreciate ang auto lalo na kung yun at yun lang ang ginagamit mo. just my point of view. :hypocritesmiley: Quote Link to comment
marvin_8
(as long as makadating ka sa pupuntahan mo, parepareho lang ang mga yan!)- that's true ...but if we need to save money we should look at the vehicle specs ... sayang din matitipid per liter db ? and siyempre compared to your frontier the jazz is smaller .. sa banggan talo ka ... pero sigurado matipid ang jazz .... good choice para makatipid... lalo na pag bago...hehehe.. enjoy ur ride.... Quote Link to comment
magnesiums
manual... i had a matic accord.. went back to my manual rona... mas exciting! Quote Link to comment

marvin_8
salamat po sir marvin. nag-eenjoy naman ako sa kanilang lahat. kahit medyo pasaway minsan, masaya pa rin ako. yung volvo ayoko ibenta kasi 21st bday gift sa akin, medyo sentimental kahit papaano. yung frontier binangga ko na sa likod ng jeep at wasak ang harap, lumabas pa airbags. yung benz naman, sinira ko dati yung gate namin, derederetso ako kasi lasing na ako. wala naman nangyari sa w123 other than basag ang ilaw na maliit sa bumper at tanggal yung fog lights. kung ibang kotse yun, siguro wasak na yun ngayon. well it's a good thing your parents give gifts .... sakin kc wala magreregalo .. so i buy cars that i like ... pinagaaralan ko muna bago bumili .....minsan kahit gusto ko na ang porma ..pero mahina ang performance hindi ko na din binibili .... sayang kc pera.nanghihinayang ako ... hindi naman sa kuripot but i go for what's best.... na sa tingin ko ay hindi ko pagsisisihan in the end..... 3 weeks ago i bought an innova G gas manual.... wala pa ako pagsisisi.. . nakapromo kc sa toyota makati.. may raffle pa .... manual because matipid... bumiyahe ako ng Batangas .. back and forth 1/4 tank of gas lang.. i don't know if it's that efficient because it's new.. pero di ko pinagsisisihan ... it may not be luxury but it serves me well ....- a volvo 98 model equals a MB124 86 to 88 model.... pareho lang ang presyo... ganun kabilis magdepreciate ang Volvo.... and as u said it was a gift .... ok lang ... hindi naman ikaw ang bumili.... you got it for free so ok lang na hindi manghinayang...mas mataas pa resale value ng expedition XLT 2000 nasa 800 K pa... kendrid
Personal choice ko would be a manual tranny. Iba pa rin feeling compared when ur driving a matic though you can also do occasional overtaking on a matic car. Sarap pakinggan ng engine when ur down shifting on a manual car (resing resing ) :mtc: Quote Link to comment
burnik20
matic tranny for long drives...puts less strain on my injured left knee....no more rezing rezing for me i guess Quote Link to comment

marvin_8
sir marvin, what do you think about the late 90's na expeditions or mga lc 80 na landcruiser? pinagiisipan ko kasi kumuha ng ganun, pa-convert ko sa lpg para tipid and at the same time traveling in style pa. sa expedition ang magandang model lang yung 2000 and up.wag yung 97 and up ... waste of moneytalgang travelling in style ka .. hahaha .... rich kid ang dating ...model 97 and up mga 400 to 500 kmodel 2000 merong makukuha na 600k ( neg ) sayang din yung edad ng car. mas maganda pa preformance ng 2000.( same body yan with 97 up. Quote Link to comment
mrxtacy2003
Manual all the way. Pag tinatamad lang and no choice saka na ko gumagamit ng automatic. It's true at a certain degree that some automatic vehicles have cheaper gas consumption but usually based on my own experience these are brand new to almost brand new vehicles, siguro mga maximum 3 to 4 years old. Yet, since I've been driving when I was 15 pa lang (don't ask, dinaya ko license ko before) I realized that still manual trannies goes a long way kung patipiran lang talaga. It's all in how you step on your gas. Timpla timpla lang yan and just maintain it properly. Just an example, I got a friend bragging about his automatic Jazz doing 12km to 14km to a liter... well, I also do that on my well maintained 96 Corolla Gli and 2002 Civic, parehong manual. Kaya again... ako! manual all the way. Kahit pa patirik pa yan... iba feeling ng marunong ka mag manual talaga Quote Link to comment
al_motor
if it isn't stupidly fast, then forget about the manual transmission! hehe Quote Link to comment
marvin_8
Manual is the best for me. I can save on gas with it, I can accelerate hard when i need to of course if i had to share the car with the missus matic would be a safer bet Quote Link to comment
marvin_8
hehehe, pwede rin sir. ayoko lang sa frontier kasi is matagtag sya pag off-road, unlike the pajero na masarap dalhin sa offroad better try the expedition xlt then .... kahit dire-diretso sa off road..... landcruiser din ..... ok din pajero field master ... Quote Link to comment
