My first car was a manual, pawis steering, no aircon '83 Ford Laser back in 2005. after that, ayoko na mag manual. Automatic transmission for the win, just stay away from dual-clutch variants. Â Contrary to popular belief with automatics, you can still have gear control on par with stick shifts when overtaking, going up or downhill by using the 2 and L gears. I've done track days with automatics and have little time difference with manual counterparts. Quote Link to comment
