vincentbrooks
i think the 90s was the golden age of the pinoy band scene, so many classics back then. and the songs back then can still hold up their own against the pinoy band songs of today... Quote Link to comment
HateEternal
^ Most songs from the 90's are actually still better than those of today. And most bands from the 90's are in a way making a comeback and so far they still got what it takes to bring the house down. Philippine Violators, Warlak, Mutiny, Dahong Palay, Razorback, Wolfgang, and a whole lot more are actively touring. \m/ Quote Link to comment

sOin2you
the boybands... still a big fan of the BSB, (and my closet speaks of it)... and the ballads... one would surely notice that there are a lot cover songs these days, and what was the era? Quote Link to comment
StoicVampire
For me the glorious days of OPM. Not against the music of today but music in the 90's were raw and pure. Simple music yet sensible. EHeads, Rivermaya (still remember my old cassette of Atomic Bomb album. Hehe), Yano, Wolfgang, The Dawn (may I include them in the 90's era?) True Faith, Introvoys, Tropical Depression, Color It Red, Siakol, among others. Music nowadays are too mainstream and stereotypical. Quote Link to comment

This was way back when their music still had angst. Collective Soul had 4 albums and a number of great songs in the 90s. Dishwalla, Pearl Jam, STP, Fuel (Shimmer!).... the best! Quote Link to comment
