at work, i wear glasses. i got this really nice frames from GAP.

pero when it's time to party, i wear contacts

Same habit here!

Just a reminder to all of you though...

If you really want to use it regularly, you have to at least rest your eyes...

The ideal way of using your CL is 2 days of usage, then 2 days of rest...

Syempre, stick to the 8-hour rule...

For those who are new to this, the 8-hour rule is the maximum hours of wearing your contacts in a day...

The reason for this is that the lens is plastic, right?

The lens is actually like a little suction cup on our cornea (or that little circle part of our eye where the lens attaches itself to)

So if we wear that on our eyes everyday, fresh oxygen is not really free to come in and out of it...

In the long run, this may cause our eyes to get irritated...

Irritation may come in the form of bloodshot-looking eyes, itchiness, "pagmumuta"..

Irritation can increase your eye grade

Or worse, if it becomes a little more infected, you may go blind...

That's why I only wear my lovely pairs of CL only when I go to parties or other social events

I learned all of these from reading Health Guide and from an optometrist (an X actually :P )

So don't deprive your eyes with oxygen okay?
