joesix2nine
I agree, Little Quiapo's Pancit Palabok is the best. You should also try Aling Tonang's Pancit Palabok at Boni Avenue, Mandaluyong. Quote Link to comment

superseeker
Nothing beats Nanays Pansit Malabon. This is located Cor. Governor Pascual Ave. and Sto. Rosario Village in Malabon alongside Jose Rizal High School. Dami pang tinda dito, may puto, chicharon, kakanin like peachy peachy and casava cake. Quote Link to comment
iggy112
I like little Quiapo as well but I've noticed there's some inconsistency in their cooking. So I avoid rush periods, buy it a tad early and get well cooked, unrushed palabok! Quote Link to comment

storm
I grew up in Malabon and each pancit malabon sold has it's own unique taste. 1. The Original Pancit Malabon (long been gone) had pork, duck egg, shrimp plus oysters and the caldo was light with chicharon and tinapa. 2. Rosy's Pancit Malabon in Cuatro Cantos is considered the best in Malabon. It has a branch in Philtrade, Roxas Blvd. across DFA. It's uniqure in a sense that it has celery, prawns, pork tongue, pechay baguio, duck egg and the caldo is kinda dry with chicharon but no tinapa. 3. Nanay's which I supposed is the most popular now in Malabon. It's saucy and very tasty. 4. Dolor's which is related to Mommy's 5. Dolores which is related to Neng's in QC. 6. Oki (with squid) 7. Unknown meriendahans. My favorite was the one that also add togue. Others put cashew fruit. Masarap din. Incidentally, the owners of Via Mare are from Malabon and Navotas Edited June 27, 2011 by storm Quote Link to comment

surex
correction, ang owner ng VIA MARE is from Navotas, Bautista family... Pansit Malabon was actually from NAVOTAS (during early 1900, Navotas used to be part of Malabon), so where else the best will come from? from its inventor - "PANSIT NG TAGA MALABON" Quote Link to comment
asmodeus
I'm sometimes a bit stumped ........ what are the significant difference between Pansit Malabon and Pansit Palabok. Quote Link to comment
