Sound Set Up - What Is Your Sound Set Up?

Just a dude who likes good sounds while driving, I replaced the factory installed JVC unit & stock speakers with a Pioneer 50w DEH 145UB and 2 pairs of JBL GT5-5652 two way, coaxial full range speakers, front and back. Total cost P8,500 less P1,000 (trade in of old unit) = P7,500.

 

Nothing fancy, just good basic stuff IMHO....

Speaker Amp -- Focal Fpp 4100 90w --> DONE

Front door Deadening --> DONE

Stinger battery & capacitor

Tchernov cables/wiring --> DONE

 

there might be "slight" changes along the way, by that I mean level down a bit

i took out the sub last week and put this instead (just for fun)

that's an 8" subwoofer. disguised as a NOS bottle.

I upgraded my head unit to an Alpine 9886. I have an Infinity Reference 8-inch sub in the back with a sealed enclosure. An Alpine 4-way amplifier for power. And Boston Acoustics Pro Series 5.4 separates for the front stage. The seps sound super sweet. It made me want to listen to all my CDs all over again.

 

Simple setup, lots of satisfaction.

i wanted a pioneer 3350 head unit kasi mura

 

but jeff advises a pioneer 6350 w ipod, usb and sd card slot

 

also change my front seps with lightning lab speakers

 

and rear coax forgot the brand

 

gusto ko din sana maglagay ng power amps and sub woofer pero

 

okay na yung set up satisfied na sa outcome

Do any reputable shops acccept trade in for head units?

mine is a basic alpine 2 din cd reviever, which is way better than the stock one.

want to upgrade to an alpine or pioneer full lcd screen but

i dont want To just store old gadgets in the attic and forget about them.

wala naman po ako sasakyan para iset up kaya balak ko na lang gamitin sa bahay

 

may napagtanungan na ako ng MDF box at 900 each

 

pwede po ba sya gamitin para sa home theater? at kng pwede po ano kayang amplifier ang pwede ko gamitin
