Bacolod City - I love the not so slow, yet not so fast pace of life there. And at the end of the day, you get to taste the best food (best cakes, best chicken inasal). Excellent universities around too.

For a rest house, I'd pick Palawan. I don't like the environment of the more saturated Baguio and Tagaytay anymore. In fact, our membership at Baguio Country Club and Tagaytay Highlands are rarely used. Sayang lang.

Yes, Baguio and Tagaytay have become crowded nowadays Master SaintPeter. But for me, I'd prefer a resort type of living for a vacation spot. Bohol is among my top choice because of the people's friendliness and less crime rate.

I have visited very little of the Philippines but Tagaytay & Batangas are quite nice.
