bicolana
Visit visa- kung pupunta ka doon ng wala kang kakilala tapos naka-visit visa ka, you are inviting disaster. dalawang buwan lang ang allowed sayo, pag di ka nakakita ng trabaho mag-eexit ka at your own expense. Dahil wala ka pang work, ikaw magbabayad ng bedspace mo. At siempre pati food mo. 350 dhs. -mga 6 to 12 kayo sa isang room at isang toilet, lumang villa. kwento nung isang ofw, dun daw sa kanila as early as 4a.m. may naliligo na at 10 minutes ka lang sa toilet just to accomodate all the people. 500dhs. onwards medyo ok=ok na. Work- pag malalaking kumpanya like oil, real estate, hotels etc medyo magaganda benefits. but dont expect the same salary given to your European or british counterparts. pero pag maliliit na company, usually you are overworked but underpaid, long hours with no OT pay in Dubai dont expect the 'division of labor policy' you are expected to do anything they asked you. Try to consider other countries in the Middle east, not just Dubai. j0hn
well if life is hard at dubai...i guess life is much harder here. to live a decent life in the philippines is something that is "too much to ask for" since its lucky if you have a roof in ur head, food to eat, and have basic utilities. most don't have any savings. your salary is just enough for you to be broke. I have a free airline ticket to go to dubai....I haven't done so. In the late eighties, i went to bahrain, muskat, abu dhabi for some job scouting...true enough there were a lot of jobs then. But the world have changed since then. I find dubai very very expensive for nothing. I can enjoy somewhere else for a lot less. The dubai experiment is all hyped up, just the beauty of marketing, nothing more and nothing less. just another white elephant. Quote Link to comment

Forget dubai nowadays, research for what is the reality of people's life in this country. Save your money and save your life. Quote Link to comment
RER
never think that uae is a open country. or either good stepping stone in going to US or Canada. may alitan ngaun ang canada at UAE, nagsimula sa hindi pagpayag ng Canada sa planong unlimited flights ng UAE based na airlines tulad ng Emira at Ittihad airline. I thinking UAE are now showing their true color. Quote Link to comment
