Annulment or Divorce in PH is nothing. Maghihiwalay at maghihiwalay pa din naman kung gusto nila and no law can prevent that. Gaya ng karamihan sa batas ng Pinas na para sa mayayaman lang, yang Annulment at Divorce para lang din sa mayaman dahil sila lang naman gagamit dyan para idaan sa korte at legal ang hiwalayan. Sa tingin nyo ba masosolve nyan ang problema ng mahihirap na naghihiwalay? Malaking HINDI ang sagot.

Why not? Having a divorce as option for those individuals that are suffering from abuse makes sense. Hindi porket may divorce eh, maghihiwalay na lahat ng tao. Its a choice/option for those who needs it.

Divorce should have been legalized decades ago. The only holdouts are evangelical retards which unfortunately comprises a big chunk of the voting population.

Divorce had it's purpose way way back. But now it's been so corrupted that makes marriage just a very unnecessary union. Might as well enter into a business contract with your partner, we've normalized na naman na several aspects about relationships, parenthood and the likes.

If you’re not aware brother, there’s this thing called prenup agreement. If you don’t have one, this depends on the date of your marriage.

if your date of marriage is prior to August 3, 1988, the separation of assets will fall under Conjugal properties regime. Under this, each assets before marriage will be owned by the same party, however, for income and assets acquired during marriage, this will be separated equally by both spouses.

if it is on or after August 3, 1988, all assets and income, whether it is from before or after marriage, these are shared equally by both spouses.

 

Alala ko lang during my undergrad hahaha I’m not a Tax Accountant, so better consult from those who specialize on this matter.
