Good afternoon sir robbie,

 

nagpadala father ko samin ng induction cooker saka multi cooker galing US, unfortunately, di namin magamit kasi 110v sya at tumingin ako ng transformer kaso sobrang mahal, umaabot ng 5k+.. balak ko eh maglagay ng isang outlet na 110 using grounding system, isa galing sa meralco at isa galing sa ground.. tinesting ko sya using multimeter at nag range sya sa 110 - 115 ata un.. ok kaya gawin ang ganun?

pang emergency lang naman... minsan kasi di mo alam kung kelan mauubos ung gas tas pag nagkataon eh baka masira ung niluluto..

I am curious to know why electricity on condos cost much more than regular homes. Can anyone elaborate?

Maybe it is billed by condo association with a different billing scheme

Can you try to turn off all electric consuming devices and if check your electric meter is running?

If running, have your home check by a licensed electrician.  Possible grounding or wiring problems.  Please don't neglect because this could lead to fire.

Yung ibang condo, bulk metering ang setup—ibig sabihin, isang buong bill lang yung binabayaran ng building tapos hinahati-hati na lang sa mga unit. Kaya minsan, mas mataas yung per kWh na rate, kasi pwedeng commercial rate ang gamitin or may additional admin fees pa na sinisingil ng condo management.
