Some other new speaker systems are good. However you wont really 7.1 not unless the source supports it. 2.1 and 4.1 up until 5.1 is generously better. Quote Link to comment

Pero I suggest you go for a soundbar with a digital surround capability. That way, you can have a surround sounding speaker without breaking the bank. Also, if you're planning on using the soundbar speaker for watching high quality videos with high quality audio, I suggest you go for a wired setup over a bluetooth one.
