nwebe
May nag-aalok sa akin ng 2010 Forester. Low mileage (<40T km), casa maintained. Is this a good model for a Forester? Quote Link to comment

blacklantern
Anyone own a forrester XT? If so, is it normal that when you are on sports Plus mode and you hit like 160 km/hr for say 8 secs there is this faint burnt odor or smell similar to the odor of kinukulot yung hair in a beauty salon? Anyone with similar experiences? Quote Link to comment
Il pirata
Digging the new Forrester xv. Looks like a soccer moms car on steroids. Hehehe. Something I wouldn't mind driving myself with a bike rack on top. Quote Link to comment

The forrester XT has 3 modes, the fastest is sports sharp mode. You press the button and the throttle daw really opens up so you can experience a great burst of speed. Yun nga lang tuwing mga 150 to 160 and mga more than 6 seconds or mga 8 seconds may faint smell of kinukulot sa parlor. Just wondering if this is normal for all forresters. Quote Link to comment
r35gtr
it is normal in all CVT transmissions na bago sir not just for the forrester Quote Link to comment

r35gtr
nope nothing to be worried about basta all stock ang auto mo at wala kang ginalaw sa ecu etc. etc. if lagi mo iyang ginagawa mawawala din ang parlor smell Quote Link to comment
r35gtr
any feedback on the new wrx sti?I have not driven the new one yet pero eto ang masasabi ko sa STI. Palitan niyo na ang EJ25. Way back in 2006 my Subaru sti can keep up with a Porsche turbo sa straits. pero ang problema sa Subaru hindi na sila nag upgrade ng engine. Hanggang ngayon pareho pa din ang makina ej25 pa din. kaya ngayon the Subary sti is lucky to keep up with a Cayman S. SInce 2004 , Subaru has been giving us the EJ25, di ba nila kaya mag upgrade. currently the ej25 produces 305hp. now the Mercedes 2.0 liter amg produces a whopping 360hp. mas maliit ang displacement pero mas malakas. Ford 2.3l eco boost produces 310hp!! Sure Subaru loyalist( I used to be a Subaru owner) would say, ECU tuning lang kaya na din umabot ng 360hp. pero ang tanong, kaya ba I guarantee ng tuner mo na hindi masisira makina kung binabad mo ang accelerator? ang daming STi ang nasira gawa ng tuning na iyan. and kung kaya talaga na 360hp ang makina eh bakit di na lang ilabas ng Subaru na 360hp ang engine. Subaru STI department, shame on you. we are sick and tired of your ej25 engine. supot na kumpara sa mga bagong makina Edited September 28, 2015 by r35gtr Quote Link to comment
