johnlove Posted November 17, 2008 Share Posted November 17, 2008 i would like to buy a laptop and would like to play online games na mataas ang resolution... ung dekaron if may nakakaalam dito... ano po minimum na video card na dapat kong gamitin...newbie ako s ganyang area eh... my nakita kasi ako... 256 MB ata ung video card, core 2 duo, 2gb RAM, 2ghz... ok n po ba yun or maglalag p rin? tnx s mgrereply For now that is an impossible dream, because there are not enough users who can pay a premium price for laptops with high end video specifications. Right now, a lot of the importers know that sooner or later Nvidia would have to slash prices on GTX260 & 9800 GTX because AMD introduces the 4850 & 4870 at a price far lower than Nvidia 8800gt. IMHOdon't waste hard earned money on xfire, it is better to get the next higher level vc(radeon 4870 or nvidia 280).In most xfire & SLI configuration, 1+1 is not equal to 2, normally you get only up to 30% improvement. sajuuk Posted December 2, 2008 Share Posted December 2, 2008 right, but im using the OC version and i've checked some websites/reviews that this video card is almost as par as 4870. w/ some benchmark especially for gaming, 4870 has about 2~4 FPS greater than mine. so, this already bang for the buck.
