Various modes of remittances are available in the host countries using the banking or non-banking channels. Your thoughts/ suggestions/ recommendations are welcome. Quote Link to comment

Guest buru_tus
sa Middle East our local banks made arrangements with Middle Eastern Bank to act as correspondent banks they charge bank transfer fee usually in the range of $3 to $6 for bank to bank, door to door, bank to pick up transfer time varies from 6hrs to 2days!!! dun sa bank na pinapadalhan ko, I usually make the transfer at 7PM, local time (12midnight pinas time) by the time na magbukas ang branch ko at 9AM, naka credit na yung money. BPI pala bank ko, they have toll free numbers practically all over the world, so you can do phone banking anytime anywhere, aside from their online site pa Quote Link to comment

Are they still strong in your area considering the on-line services now offered by local correspondent banks? Quote Link to comment
