gift_of_game
^guess the young Hawks didn't really take to well to Mike's wigga ambitions... but the post-break doldrums did claim its fair share of vics...the `stones got themselves knocked around at home by Superman and his crew...the Celts ran out of gas at Mile High...the Knicks won a game in OT Quote Link to comment

Bibby was acquired by the Hawks in a trade on Saturday. He joined the team from Sacramento in exchange for guards Anthony Johnson and Tyronn Lue, forward Shelden Williams, center Lorenzen Wright and a second-round pick in the 2008 draft. He scored just five points in his Hawks' debut. Quote Link to comment
agentjackbauer
News item A The Spurs have reportedly reached an agreement to acquire center Kurt Thomas from the SuperSonics for guard Brent Barry, center Francisco Elson and a 2009 first-round pick, according to Yahoo! Sports on Wednesday. The report said that the teams are awaiting league approval. As for fantasy impacts, it's likely that the players involved shouldn't see much of a change in value. However, if Barry starts in Seattle, or Thomas doesn't continue to start in San Antonio, that could change. Feb. 20 - 7:42 pm et (rotoworld.com) News item B Writers for the Sun-Sentinel and Newark Star-Ledger sound very confident that the rumored three-team trade that would send Vince Carter to the Knicks, Eddy Curry to the Heat, and Jason Williams and Ricky Davis to the Nets is not going to happen. The Sun-Sentinel's Ira Winderman blogs that Pat Riley said "Wrong, Wrong...Not that I don't have respect for him," today when asked if Curry was coming to the Heat. And the Star-Ledger's Dave D'Alessandro writes that he sees no way Vince Carter is traded this week, saying that we can "book it." agentjackbauer
I wish... but no, not with my current team. It sucks. It is very "inefficient"... sometimes I feel like all my players are named Eddy Curry, especially on days when Iverson, Camby and Odom are not playing. Quote Link to comment
