cheeselogger Posted December 3, 2006 Share Posted December 3, 2006 well, melo was mine at the season's 1st few weeks... which i've traded to RIP CITY (who eventually became league champ!) and got AK47 in return... which i've traded along with kobe for dwight howard and brad miller... which really brought me all the way... ...and well... melo is playing outta his mind right now... but the catch is, i got Z in exchange for wilcox (i really love Z's game lately, though, 'cox is my main man - have him in 5 outta 6 leagues that i have)... and JJ does less TO's than 'melo, though scores less, yet shoots much more 3's, though shoots with a lower %, etc, etc, etc... ...IMO, between JJ and melo, it's all even... the kickers would be the ones to determine who got the better of who in the long run... oops, my bad. I forgot Melo came from you in the AK-Melo trade... hehehe and yeah you're right, JJ and Melo looks a bit even for me. JJ has the edge in assists and threes and Melo has the edge in points and fg %'s and now maybe even steals... but between Wilcox and Z, looks like Wilcox has a bit of an edge in total numbers given as Z seems to have slowed down his inside scoring compared to the past seasons and Wilcox looks like he's auditioning for a raise. he'd probably get it though if he'd get consistent double-doubles and more defensive stats... agentjackbauer Posted December 4, 2006 Share Posted December 4, 2006 Putting things in perspective: * 24 total match-ups in a single fantasy nba season, including the playoffs * Today is the end of the 5th week of match-ups * The regular season ends with the match-ups on Week 21 * Thus, 16 more match-ups to go before the playoff spots are determined * 60 maximum moves allowed for adding/dropping players; I now have 15. * 45 more moves left for the entire season for my team or almost 3 moves per week for the remaining 16 match-ups. Di ko masyado gusto si Melo noon but the Melo this season is different. Granted na yung scoring nya pero ang tindi ng fg% nya eh, mataas. Tapos may rebs and assists na rin sya at sympre FTM nya malakas din. On the other hand, you are getting JJ. His line for today? 33 pts on 14-22 shooting, 4 3s, 6 rebs, 6 assists, 1 steal and only one TO. Those are excellent numbers. Talo pa si Lebron nyan eh. He he, ok lang pare, lamang kasi ako ng dalawang steals, eh isa lang nakuha ni J. Jack. Sayang, dapat talaga di ko na pinaglaro si Howard and Randolph. With all due respect, what I actually couldnt understand was why PBP would want to trade his top assists man, Odom, for Artest and Warrick when in fact his team does not have a legit starting pg (T.Lue doesnt start, right?).
