agentjackbauer Posted December 11, 2006 Share Posted December 11, 2006 well, i respect your strategy bro... ...but it's way different if we live / strategize on how each player performed (and should) last season... i mean, if that would be the basis, commish's team would probably be in deep s@%t right now (remember randolph, baron & deron last year) - but truth is, he's on top right now by means of great draft strategy & tons of luck (hehehe - who would've expected these guys would perform phenomenal)... ...yeah, easy enough to see that smush (my man last year), hedo, darko and - get this - chris kaman - ain't performing good this season... some minor changes would make your team nasty again......well... point is... just give us a good offer and we'll let you know... hehe Ha ha, funny thing is, I actually expected big numbers from Zach and Baron when I drafted them. Zach averaged 18 pts and 8 rebs last year but he was perceived to have played below his potential. I simply thought that he wanted to prove people wrong this year. He now produces 25.9 pts and 10.2 rebs per game, Not bad for a bad boy, he he. As for Baron, the guy put up 17.9 pts and 8.9 assists last year but shot only 38.9%. Ok na yung pts and assists nya for me at last year's pace, but he became a forgotten man this year coz he played only 54 games last season at ang baba nga ng fg% nya. Now he is norming 20.1 pts, 8.1 assists (mas mababa pa nga ang assists nya this year) but he is shooting better at 44% because he has cut down on his 3-pt attempts (6 attempts per game last yr compared to just 4 this year). Getting Baron in a draft is deemed a risk because he is so injury-prone. Pero never naman naging in doubt na he puts up huge numbers when he is playing. So ayan, pag na-injure si Baron, tapos ang fantasy season ko. As for Deron, I again expected him to play big. Why? Coz he actually had a stretch of huge games at season's end last year. Sinundan ko rin ang pre-season at maganda din pinakit nya and most analysts ranked him high amog the young guards (primarily coz of his late season surge last year). The value of pass-first guards is really highlighted in our league dahil may A/T ratio tayo. Kaya nga matagal ko na nililigawan si Andre Miller kay launchpad pero ayaw talaga i-trade. Pag yung isa kasi sa pgs mo ay na-injure o pangit ang laro, parang talo ka na agad sa 2 categories (assists and A/T). Kaya kahit na puro assists lang ang binibigay ni Duhon at di ko alam kung maglalaro o hindi si J-Will in any given game, andyan pa rin silang dalawa sa team ko, ha ha. (Pambalanse na rin sa TOs ni Curry at Dwight Howard, haha, mga lintek na big men to) Quote Link to comment
