gwapogi
Well my Atlanta guy has 1 pts, 1 reb, 2 steals and 1 assist. Hanep, nakakainis. Maybe its because they are up against the Suns. Pero usually high-scoring nga eh kung Suns ang kalaban. Problema lang ay kung matambakan at yun na nga ang nangyari. Imagine if I agreed to the Calderon for BIbby trade you offered earlier in the season. Wala sana akong problema sa pg.Calderon is one of the most common denominators of top teams in Yahoo fantasy leagues. Swerte mo sa kanya, lalo na na may A/T tayo. buti na lang tinanggihan mo... hehehe... Quote Link to comment
agentjackbauer
Tony Parker has been "shut down" for Tuesday's game and possibly several more by Spurs' coach Gregg Popovich. Parker has been bothered by a bone spur in his heel all season, and Pop wants him to let it heal."He was told he was going to get better, but he's gotten worse," Popovich said. "I don't know how long it's going to be, but he's going to sit. He doesn't like it, but this is the way it's going to be." Parker was just 1-of-7 for five points and three assists on Monday, so he is clearly not feeling well. We know the Spurs are near the top of the list to acquire Damon Stoudamire, and Stoudamire could be thrown directly into the mix with Parker sidelined. Jacque Vaughn will start in his place tonight. gift_of_game
^DWade finally calling it a season and Miami going full steam ahead to NJ for the lottery Edited January 30, 2008 by gift_of_game Quote Link to comment
cheeselogger
^by Heat fans' standards, I don't think that would be so bad for them. especially with nothing else going right for them, another young stud partnered with D-Wade would most probably do wonders for the Heat franchise... gift_of_game
by team standards, I'd agree...but for the fans, well, those season ticket holders would get even more pissed.and it gets even uglier if they somehow don't get a top 3 pick next year. cheeselogger
^Boston/Memphis anyone? hehehe seriously, they'd be better trading off Blount and maybe even Buckets for a couple of draft picks and cash. plus, since they're on a D-League/college tryout mode anyway they should just let Rod Benson and all the other NBDL all-stars have a go on the team. letting hometown heroes Anthony Roberson, Matt Walsh or even Lee Humphrey play will definitely give them brownie points in case the front office gets scared of alienating their fan base... gift_of_game
I still dunno how Kevin McHale bamboozled Riley into that one. that's probably gonna top the list for underrated deals of the year---trading 2 knuckleheads for a big fat one. haha! Quote Link to comment
cheeselogger
seriously though, I'd rather have Buckets and the eternally-allergic-to-inside-play Blount than Walker. especially with the Heat already having an oft overweight player who think by just suiting up the team already has a chance... too bad for Riley though that he had to include good guy and hardworking Doleac just to ship Antoine out. McHale though again blew it with not even letting big dub showing his wares for his JV team, IMHO... Quote Link to comment
