agentjackbauer
Jermaine O'Neal is thinking about sitting out the rest of the season in order to let his left knee injury fully heal. "That's really the prime option for me," O'Neal said Sunday, of sitting out the rest of the season. "We're going to rehab now like it was the summer, with an extensive rehab. If that consists of a month or the rest of the season, I need to take the necessary steps to not come back on something that's not really healthy." Troy Murphy and Jeff Foster, along with most Pacer forwards would see an increase in value if O'Neal shuts it down. agentjackbauer
Trevor Ariza is also out for 8 weeks but I dont think he is owned in most (if not all ) of our leagues, he he. Pero kawawa naman Lakers. Quote Link to comment
agentjackbauer
Carmelo Anthony left Monday's game with a left ankle injury mid-way through the second quarter, after landing awkwardly on Kobe Bryant's foot. X-rays are being taken, but it's doubtful that he'll return to the game. The injury looked pretty bad, and Melo could be facing an extended absence, which the short-handed Nuggets cannot afford. We'll update his status as soon as more information is available. Jan. 21 - 11:39 pm et (from rotoworld.com) Quote Link to comment

agentjackbauer
Melo Update Carmelo Anthony was forced out of Monday's loss to the Lakers with a nasty ankle injury, but X-rays came back negative. He will be re-evaluated in Denver on Tuesday. It looks like Anthony sprained his ankle, but we won't know how severe it is until sometime on Tuesday. If Melo misses significant time, the battered Nuggets will lean heavily on Linas Kleiza, who is worth a flier in most leagues. Jan. 22 - 1:35 am et (rotoworld.com) Quote Link to comment

agentjackbauer
Dwight Howard, defending champion Gerald Green, Jamario Moon and Rudy Gay were announced as the four candidates in this season's Slam Dunk contest. The contest will be held Feb. 16 during All-Star Saturday night in New Orleans and there will be a slight rule change. After the final round of dunks, fans can vote by text message or on NBA.com to determine the winner. A panel of judges will decide which two dunkers advance to the finals.
